The British newspaper,
The Telegraph, has a long
interview with author Terry Prachett, whose next book,
Unseen Academicals, is due out October 6th.
Prachett, who suffers from early onset Alzheimer's, describes his efforts to deal with the disease, as well as his support of assisted suicide, which he prefers to call "assisted death." The author continues to write, although his production has been reduced to one book a year. He no longer types, speaking to a computer via software instead. An adaption of his novel
Going Postal is in production. He remains a considerable force in British fantasy.
