With fifty short episodes, Gemini Division is probably the longest specifically-for-web production to date. As advertised, it has a fairly generic plot, presented as a series of phone calls with camera. The heroine, a cop, almost becomes engaged, but her prospective fiancé is killed. Naturally, she sets out to find his killer, slightly hampered by the fact she is from NYC, and the murder took place in Paris. It is not obvious that this is going to turn into an interesting story but it looks like well-produced just-for-web productions may be here to stay. And right along with that, the targeted commercials.
