British Comics From DFC

With the flood of Japanese and Japanese-derived comics worldwide, it probably should not have come as a surprise to find that there were no comics being produced in Britain. That's about to change, with DFC (The David Fickling Comic) counting its way down to a subscription comics series aimed at children in the UK. Their website is up and running, and the publicity machinery whirring away. Random House supported, mailings start in May, with the aim being that—at least in the UK—the comic be in mailboxes every Friday. Subscriptions accepted worldwide, if you want to pay the postage.
